Clutch rebuild

Hi all,

I have just replaced the clutch friction plates and springs in my 1992 KR-1S, I have followed the manual to the letter and have assembled it accordingly. I replaced the oil and adjusted the cable, pull the lever and it feels OK but the clutch doesn't disengage, has anyone had any similar problems? any advice would be appreciated.

Yeah, I've had that problem a lot or just a draggy clutch.

Take it for a ride and it will be fine

did you inspect the lever inside where it connects to the rod that pushes the clutch open ?

they wear out , meaning there is less leverage.
