Clutch rebuild

Post by hethero »

Hi all,

I have just replaced the clutch friction plates and springs in my 1992 KR-1S, I have followed the manual to the letter and have assembled it accordingly. I replaced the oil and adjusted the cable, pull the lever and it feels OK but the clutch doesn't disengage, has anyone had any similar problems? any advice would be appreciated. ](*,)

cheers hethero

Yeah, I've had that problem a lot or just a draggy clutch.

Take it for a ride and it will be fine

did you inspect the lever inside where it connects to the rod that pushes the clutch open ?

they wear out , meaning there is less leverage.
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !
