Nice!
Is that an original Kawasaki blue?
I've been looking for the colour codes for that blue, and I think I've found it in the standox paint scheme.
It's named differently in it, but I've not done any test cards yet!
Cheers Martin.

We couldn't reliably find the right paint code for the blue so went for one I liked! ZXR400 Gitanes Blue, and I can always easily get a touch up now as well if I need it

Fantastic transformation, can see more people doing the 'zeus blue' colourscheme after seeing this. Makes the wheels look a bit bland in comparison, now.

Re: This might take a while!!!
Thanks, those wheels caused the sprayer so many headaches I basically stayed away for about 2 months while he sorted them!
Went through its MoT today, only problem that showed up is the clutch is dragging. Checked cable and adjustment, hadn't noticed it that much before so might have to have the casing off and look into it a bit further. Other than that, all good!

Re: This might take a while!!!
Thanks Jarno,
In the end I stripped both engines I had and rebuilt them into this one.. Currently it's got the engine cases, barrels and cyl head that are original, everything else internally is from the engine I got from you. The crank has been checked over and bearings/seals replaced, the barrels have been replated and are running the new Mitaka pistons. The "left over" engine that's in bits is going to be a spare as all the bits are good it can pretty much go straight back together. Hopefully I wont need to use it too soon [-o<

Doug, what a transformation. Well done for the bold decision to go Zues Blue, a great choice. Just in time for the summer. Lets hope the rain stays away.
