now i've pretty much done the mito 350.....

i brought rucksackback's kr1s
here it is back in my garage after my 520 mile round trip...

almost as it is now,apart from its stripped down to the bare frame and swingarm,gutted the swingarm pivot is seized solid,hopefully getting it pressed out this weekend

the Mito is pure sex - for all us outisde the EU is it a Mito 125 with rz350 and rs250 forks? or a bored out RGV?

had a seized swinger pivot before, damn nuisance

holds things up.

i'm probably going to just do a restoration job on the kr for the time being as i haven't got the funds to do anything really special

done a bit more....
stripped down to component parts (i hope i remember how it goes back together again

)

made a new lug to replace the broken paddock stand lug

forks cleaned up,and a set of bandit 1250 calipers fitted

bits and peices back from the platers

hopefully i'm picking the frame up from the powder coaters tomorrow,also had the engine soda blasted,it came up quite nice

,not as nice as vapour blasting but cheaper with no need to take the engine apart.....more pics to come

a little place called Crossroad's ? Oxon. He's into old Brit bikes, Ban bury
run & the like. Bob Dixon. He worked for Kubota tractors in Oxford ???

If you don't count the spokes it looks quite like a Kr one, is it 17"?

Could be another option for a better choice of tyres.

yes 17",will take a 150 section tyre,its a pretty close fit in the arm too,its about 5mm narrower that the swing arm,20mm spindle so will need some top hats.........the disc if a fair bit bigger than the kr's
shame the matching front only takes a single disc.
on the negative side mito wheels arn't that light

That realy is a fantastic looking bit of kit =D>
