I have decided to strip and rebuild it as Suzuki should have, It has only done 2,300mls from new but there is room for improvement.

It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.

Photobucket have been messing with the format and i can't figure out how to upload pics,
As for the teapot being butt ugly i disagree i think mine looks great and is a nice colour and i am only rebuilding it into something special because i can!
I will probably never ride it but it is something to tinker with, and i am sick of having £10,000+ in a superbike in my garage and never riding it, i spent nearly £60,000 in 7yrs on new superbikes and that doesn't inc the 2nd hand bike i bought awell.
I'm going to have another go at uploading pics.

Sust it
I intend to fit:
New tyre's, Renthal sprocket's, Gold chain, stubby lever's, Viper can, Katana heel plate's, Custom seat, Stainless header's, lot's of Chrome plating, Rezinced bit's & bob's, Braided brake line's, Some carbon fibre bit's already ordered etc etc.
I look at it like this i have been saving to pay off my house in the next 18 months so do i pay the house off or go buy a brand new superbike!!!
I can buy whatever bike i want when the house is paid for and i will.

The Buell XB12R was a great posers bike, lots of torque and would lift the front wheel at just over tickover, It would top out at 135-140mph, but the sound was mental with the straight through exhaust and under the dummy tank is the airbox with a vorticity stack big enough to get your fist in so the induction noise was incredible.
Just after this pic was taken i fitted a spring loaded belt tensioner after i snapped a belt and had to push it home 2 miles.
I should have kept that bike

Now that thought is worth quoting, and so true.Top-shaggy wrote:Nooooooooo more pics please ..!!
It's great seeing what bikes have shaped a blokes motorcycle brain..
I didn't go near a bike for nearly 10yrs, from 29 to 38. Then a mate turned up at the house on a GSXR 750m, I had a quick spin and that was me hooked again.
More photos......
