This is what I bought off Hipringle,



I have fitted the fairing I bought off Teerex & photographed it from the side that was not damaged during my 'little off', ho ho ho

As you can see it has a very shiny frame that wouldn't take much to bring it back to 'really shiny', best get it powder coated then

It is a B2 model, import, with 1S forks & expansions. 1S rear shock also fitted.

Someone at some point has fitted a 120/70 front tyre???

All in all, its well worth putting back on the road, restored or MOT standard? I don't know at the moment

I would finish your other projects first

Always a problem how far do you go, freshen up or full on strip, bit of spit and polish (or alot) and then sort the bodywork.

Will give you something to do over the winter, looks in good shape.

if your young and the ally is polished`ish carry on ,it does look good

I bought a new fairing off Teerex just to get my Kr1 through its MOT.

The blue/green/white one in the pics, I still haven't got round to getting it an MOT either

Anyway, coming back home down my drive in the wet, I throttled off & coasted home only for the front end to go bugger

Never touched my brakes, feathered the clutch on the way down & bang, down we went, bugger

I do like polished stuff but its the upkeep I can't do, maybe I'll 'ratbike' it

Good luck with the KR1 Howie. I thought about that one for us, and if I had had a top fairing I may have had a punt myself.

Then again I have enough on.

I know what you mean about having enough on, I seem to be in demand from everyone at the moment, very bizarre

I'm not going to touch the Kr1 until I have finished my boiler cupboard & got some heating back on in the house.

I built this, got some advice off Kfor, regarding the footings (many thanks KFor ) but other than that, its all my work.

OK I know I need to point up my brickwork but for a first go at bricklaying, I'm quite happy.

Just fitting my 'ebay special' boiler at the mo, ahhhhh warm house, here we come

Looks good Stew, wish i could find a builder that will turn up to build my garage.

I would give it a go Ian but it took me 3 days just to lay the bricks on my boiler cupboard

Good builders are hard to find, my bricklayer is away in Oz for three weeks hence me having to give it a crack.

Hurry up and get the heating on, then you will be in mrs Howies good books, you might even get a treat at Christmas

I'm really critical of my own work 375, even though it was my first attempt at laying bricks, I still think I could have done better

Still, not to worry.

The boiler installation will be first class I know a fair bit about that sort of thing

And yes, Mrs Howie is dead pleased, she's been very encouraging even with all the bad language thats been going on for the past week or so

Think you have saved yourself a few ££ there,

Add that to what you have learnt and you are on to a winner

Dont forget to extened that pipe work into the garage for a nice warm rad

If it took you a 3 days to lay the bricks on yer boiler cupboard-how long did it take to build that?and if your bricky in oz built it....i'd stay there out of shame if i built to that standard
