New Old Colours Retro

Post by andy b »

Well after many a hard days and nights i have got my beloved Kr1s race bike ready for some more action.
I was looking through the forums and found and photo of a kr1s where one of the members had changed the colours i think on a pc or something.
I used to have a 1990 Kawasaki AR125 in old skool red & black which i loved when i was a teenager.
So i thought i would put paint to panels and here it is.
Before and after.. Oh and i painted it all with rattle cans, my 1st time spraying :D

Oops ! Then i crashed it twice last year..

Now the new old skool retro colours..

Thanks guys, yes ive got rgv front end so the bike has matching wheels now :)
The forks have damping adjusters on top so im not sure if there early rgv sp forks and ive fitted bitubo heavy spring with 15 sae fork oil.
I have also fitted a zx6r 2001 front brake master cylinder (awesome) cheaper alternative to brembo :)

Was your AR like this one Andy ?
I like AR's meeeeeeeeeeeeee
Your colour scheme looks brilliant - it's the missing C2 model that should have been. Hey maybe we should start a rumour... It's the concept model and they only built 10 for UK only.. Ho ho ho

If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..

I seem to remember the AR125 used to corner very well for the skinny tyres it had.. I had one as a courtesy bike once for a couple of weeks.. :)
I like the concept bike idea lol..

The race bike looks great, and the AR looks like a wee GPZ.
