Re: Project KR1SS - So far
I would have thought the above was down to how the bike is ridden - and rider ability
Also rider weight can have as big an input as power on bikes like this

Re: Project KR1SS - So far
OK, that makes sense - the CDI curve is "standard Borut", not standard KR-1S! Thanks for clarifying Bernie.500bernie wrote:...The Zeeltronic had the standard pre-programmed curve that comes already loaded by Borut.
This is a significant improvement on the standard CDI...

Ha I'm only 12-12.5 and I weigh half a stone less than when I had one brand new. Should be interesting but my frame is some what bigger but not as round

So why 300cc? Is it just because that had already been done or if you're going for hp is that the best way to start? And in that case what's likely the best a well tuned S as a 250 is going to put out?

Hi Doug
Like me Gary happened to have a Stan Stevens 300 top end.
I think MJs threads indicate what the potential of a 250 could be.
Cheers

Re: Project KR1SS - So far
Sadly not Bernie, weather is superb as well SV1000 is apart having some set up done before a dyno tune, KR is still waiting for bodywork to return (next Sat all being well) and the CBR400 is waiting for new HT leads and caps.. My only transport is a YBR125 or the Transit, neither are very appealing for the TT run500bernie wrote: (Are you doing the Helmsley TT today?)

Not a bad point to be starting from then! For the size/weight/simplicity of these engines what they can put out is amazing..500bernie wrote:Hi Doug
