KR1-s needing an engine rebuild.

Post by Glenbrook10 »

This is a KR1-s that I purchased half way through last year. It needs a crank rebuild so I have been trying to find the best way of going about it. I live in Sydney, Australia and it seems as though most of the parts and support is in the UK.

Don't worry too much mate. We got a forum member in Qld that can build your crank for you at a pretty good price. His forum name is Two Stroke Institute. Either PM him, or wait for him to reply to the thread, as he's a forum regular.
As for the rest of the bike, it looks pretty tidy from the pics, although I can't quite make out if thats a piece of fairing broken-out above the headlight or just a wierd reflection. :?
Anyways, welcome to the forum. Feel free to ask all the questions you want, as someone on here is bound to know the answer (quite often even when it's not even bike related :-$ ). And keep the pics coming. We love pics, we do.
