KR-1 exhaust cans

Post by the kid »

First of many questions , can you repack the end cans on the stock KR-1 pipes . My manual doesn't give any info .
Will try to get some different pipes as time and money allow , at least a set from an "s"
Thanks

i bought a KR that had the baffle packing removed (i re-packed it
because it sounded too noisy)

whoever did it must have spent hours poking out the old packing
because you won't be able to pull the baffle out while its still
there

so if you've got the time it can be done :D

not long cliff because i got some sheet packing and wrapped it round
then twist wired it in place so the fit wasn't as tight as the original

probably took less time than it takes you to polish your bike
