The problem with the kick start is if your foot slips off and it springs back foward again it can engage a gear and as the compression is zip you will be trying to start it in gear
How do you like the rear brake set up right to left.

the brake set up looks fun - the bit i like is the metal chain to hold in the battery possibly the strongest /most dangerous battery holder ever - just changed crank shaft seals on her - major operation - nope you can do them from the outside! if you had to you could change them at side of road with half decent tool kit - £7 the pr from my local bearing supplier - bits for it dont seem to have part numbers stamped on them they have the size of the part instead very usefull
