DP Cadwell 3/4 July
Derby Phoenix are back at their local circuit Cadwell Park on the 3rd/4th July for their fifth meeting of the season. The highlight of the meeting will be Sunday’s Allcomers race for the Newbold trophy; the club’s most prestigious race. The race has been held each year in memory of John Newbold a member of the club who went on to race 500 GP machines as Barry Sheene’s team mate at Heron Suzuki. Along with the Newbold the club has a full programme of its usual classes - 1000, F600, Super Stock 600, Pre-Injection 600, Steel frame 600, F400, Thunderbikes, Mini-Thunderbikes and Sidecars. For entry details and reductions available to junior riders and those travelling long distances contact Jim Hinchliff on 01623 636880.

Yep - however I will be interested to see what the race length is going to be.
Apart from their normal classes Wirral have the Electric Bikes (there is power at Anglesey) and the F2 FSRA sidecars.
Interesting the next meeting the Grand is more expensive there again I suppose that is on the international circuit

But even so....£160 for a weekends on track action isn't a lot.
Page 2 of the regs does have plans for races;
July meet - 3 times 6 to 8 lap races
October meet - 4 times 5 to 6 lap races.
So, probably no better value tracktime wise than DP, and possibly worse when you cost in getting there and other weekend costs. It is after all "only" £80 less than one class with DP which is a pretty small slice of what it costs for a total race weekend.
But, still writing a cheque for £160 for a weekend out would feel like very cheap racing indeed, if you're there (it'd be nice to know at least one person in the paddock) I'm more than tempted to do this instead of the poxy one day meet at Oulton.

A few KR's made the trip up to Cadwell and went well, I'd write more but I didn't see much of them
Current points here
Table looks like this;
and yes Mark you are at the bottom purely cause I find it amusing
Though it does make the KR the dominant bike on the table.
TBF it is anyway really, the RGV's of Iain and Dave are vj23's, Mark has a vj22.

Well done Fontyy - though I see you have only awarded points for two of the 3 races on Sunday
Wirral meeting will be 2 x 10 lap races and 1 x 8 lap race over the two days. Unless the Electric bikes don't turn up in which case the 8 lapper might become a 10 lapper.
KR is now planned to be out for DP Anglesey though I may try and make the SATT day if the Barrels are back in time.
