Still running a 18" rear & using Dunlop Alphas, this guy will make you a set of tyre warmers if you need them ian@tyre-warmers.co.uk think they were £98.00 helpful guy & he own's a couple of KR's I think

Gary

Good to meet up with you and Emma on Saturday. Well done on your results.

I managed to get an 8th and 9th on the TDR in the YPM races, lapping in the low 2:04's

Oulton is a fine track, particularly when blessed with the weather we had.

See you at Pembrey...

I see you have also gone in the 675 Allcomers as well as the F400 - well done :) It is worth doing and is excellent value for money in terms of track time.

Yep, think I need as much track time as posible, just dumped the race at copice bike at cadwell this evening doing some practice laps , loads of damage, will have to work a few late nights and hope I have all parts needed to get it going again.

Don't really know what caused it, front went exiting copice and I slid on to grass, bike not as bad as first thought and I have most parts to put it back together, need the following though:

footpegs
gear lever
clutch lever mount
steering damper
fairing
screen

will source these over the next few days while getting frame welded,

if any one know where to get any of these bits it would be helpful.

Probably have but depends on answer to question
By footpegs do you mean standard?
What sort of steering damper?

I have
Gear lever
Fairing raw white (In fact have full body set in white)

Screen - no

Assume it was dry
Mmm... exiting...
Tyres what size front and what size rim?
Tyre pressures?
Rear suspension not too soft allowing bike to squat unloading the front?
How many laps into the session and was anything different to previous laps?

Race pegs with nylon end.
NHK steering damper (cheep but worked ok).

will pm about gear lever and fairing.

dry track,
evening, so was cooling down,
120/70/17 Dunlop alpha on 3.50 rim, 150/18 alpha rear,
was 30psi cold when checked before going out,
rear suspension probable too soft for me (90kg undressed),
rear static 0mm, rear dynamic 30mm (without riding gear on), think I need to get suspension set up,
4th lap into session, only thing different from previous laps, no slow 4stroke in front of me, I was posible carring much more corner speed than previous laps,
Also I have been trying to alter my riding style to suit the 250 from riding big 4strokes and supermotos on the road for the last 20 years.

You should be able to take Coppice flat out in 6th (takes very big balls - which I don't quite have always roll off a tadge).

Worth checking the spring rate probably need something about 90 to 95kg for your weight. Stock springs are a little soft and people tend to try and compensate by winding in a load of pre-load.

I run 30psi rear (Hot) & 26 front (hot) this has made a lot of difference to the grip
I used to check the pressures cold but after a qualifing session at Oulton park there was 44 psi in the rear when I left the track!!

Bike back together at last, THANKS to all who have helped, just need to set it up as best I can and give it a run up the lane to make sure all is working ok.

Am a little worried I have the rear wheel spacers in the wrong sides,
14mm on left (chain side)
11mm on right (disc side)
all looks to be inline though.
