So finally a batch of correct F3 valves is ready. Will collect them tomorrow and post them to you all asap.

Could those who haven't paid yet, please pay the next few days.

Just picked up the first 10 sets of valves, Herbert insists on checking every single one himself to see if it fits in the two barrels I gave him (freshly replated ones from BDK). Will pick up the rest this evening.

Here a comparison, from left to right: correct valve, original valve (nearly :D) and a faulty one:

and here the lot of new correct ones:

Will start packing them now as ordered and rush to the post office.

Update: got all 30sets at home now. :D

Got a pm questioning if they really fit and whether the collar might be a bit too high :?

Here a few pics that prove that the valves do fit. Checked all 128 valves in 3 different barrels, what more could I do?

So , I hope you all won't have any more sleepless nights because of these valves (as I had)........

Valves arrived safely today Charles, a work of art. Far too good to fit in an engine!
Many thanks again,
Mike

Thanks Al, Mike, I just didn't expect this to become that stressful. I'd never thought Herbert's people would produce a complet batch of faulty valves.... They're profesionals and then make such a stupid mistake. Learnt that I have to check every single valve myself.

Just one notice: I'm about to leave for a few days in the UK. Will be back by Friday, October 16. Should anyone of you have any questions/problems regarding the receipt of the valves or the valves themselves, just send me a pm and I'll contact you asap. It may however take a few days, although I will try to read my pms in the UK too.

Just in case anyone has any doubts about the quality and finish of the valves I have received my revised ones today and they are top quality as for Charles, he deserves a medal for his efforts And he has gone out of his way to make sure they have all been checked. Top bloke

Cheers Charles
