Does anyone know where I can get a set of Michelin SM tyres from?

Yep they are bloody ace track tyres and are the tyre of choice on any 250 grid (all the top racers use them). You'll need to do a 17" rear wheel conversion and fit a wider front as well. They are only available in a 120/160 17" combination, So something like a ZXR400 front and a RGV VJ22 rear will be needed, although the profile of the rear really wants a 5-5.25" rear wheel (the RGV is a 4.5" wide wheel).cpw888 wrote:Really?
These are good for the KR1's?
They are designed for a lightweight bike (such as a Supermoto or a 250) and are a Slick with a slight moulded tread thats enough to allow them to be used in a supersport race. They are also marked "not for Highway Use" so the plod won't like you using them on the road. Why? Aren't they for supermoto races?
Just ordered a set and they were about £175 a pair plus VAT trade price.scooble wrote:will get a set b4 the next track day, noticed somone on Ebay called roundandblack are also selling them aswell - they also do Alpha 10's too at a reasonable price
