First run out on the KR1s this year, nice and dry out - about 8 deg so not too cold.
The tyres still haven't got any newer - I will get a new pair sometime, but this bike is great.
Almost feels like a track bike and can really take a corner and still dig in deeper if needed.
The feel of a well set up 250 and a clear road is hard to describe, but you all know it. The thing is if you ride it at 3/10ths it would feel crap. Bring it up to 7 or 8 out of 10 and its the best bike ever for that trip.
Also got a taste of that just pre tankslapper lightness and wiggle while hard on the power - yee ha!
I didn't notice the carburation - so the adjustments worked or it just wasn't spending any time in the midrange to notice it.
Got out on the little AR80 too - its the opposite - fun up to 6/10ths, start riding it hard and the plot falls apart.
Horses for courses and all that..
