So, what's the deal here then ? Some bloke advertised this on the RD Forum, then updated it only 2 days later to say he's scrapped it all instead.

Really ?

A one-off inline-4 500 by the genius that made those 4,5,6 and 7 cylinder triples, V-twin SS50, V8 Z1 and the V12 Z1300. I don't think so...

Needs a lot of work, and could look a shambles if not done properly, but it deserves a good home.

God knows I don't have time, money or room for another project but I've contacted him to say I'd be interested if it really is sitting on top of a skip at the moment...

I saw that on the LC forum, had exactly the same thoughts as you, could be very nice.
Can't believe you'd just bin it, don't think anyone's that daft

That looks interesting, but i would think the two centre pots would run a little hot, the GT380 triple used to suffer seizures on the centre pot, surely four would be worse. Anyone remember the ram air system

, it rammed the fins full of flies and that was about it.

not sure about that one like Cliff says it will have KH trouble one two many revs and the middle cylinder seizes only it will be 2

the ram water system might help the flies were when it was hot it if it rained it rammed water onto the plugs and it misfired or mine did

come to think of it so did my KH
