Hi, I saw your post and think I may be able to help you. I own an 89' KR-1S in its original ebony and zeus blue metalic. ( Looks magic by the way!). So I went out and scanned over the VIN plates etc on the bike looking for the colour code, but without any luck. If anyone perhaps knows where exactly on the bike I might find it please let me know and I will pass it on. I am however going to get it colour matched for paint a touch up so I will pass on any info I get. I am also happy to e-mail pics of it if you like if thats any help. Good luck on your quest.

I contacted Kawasaki Australia and they kindly came up with the code for Zeus blue....'EM'... if that makes any sense? However, I also just sent that Kawasaki brochure with the blue bike to a friend whose wife is Japanese to get some more info. This led them to another japanese website listing the code for zeus blue as 'FJ', and 'FH' for green.
Anyway, I will still get it colour matched and send a sample to anyone that wants it. Cheers blokes.
