:D Well Everyone Else seems to have too....
I bought this One last Yaer off a chap
on Here Funny enough??? Hoooraa..
From Hemel Hempstead...a bargain..
it came in bits and remained in bits and then
became more bits to fit into the shed..
in fact i stripped it completly,,
The original Krr started life as a standard bike
I was going to rebuild it standard..which is why
i have started this one..as the first one ..the
fairing was repainted back to original only..
So i used the 2nd set of fairings for the Krr
I changed my mind as you can see...
and with all projects you end up with more
spares than you want to keep...
Quote " i'll buy that..comin in handy"
or i'll use that...errrrmmm??

Anyway...so now the Krr is Finished
I decided to start the other so here is a pic of the
Bike
.. I will post some pics up later of the frame and etc
which has been Powder Coated etc...
And some stories of the idea....

Cheers...

quality looks 100% as it did on the kr-r. lovely looking job on the frame/swinger. the more i see frames as nicely done as that the more i get pissed off with my not so mirror polished frame/swinger!! its only a track hound so not THAT important but it would be lovely to just be able to wipe it clean rather than battle oil residue on polished ali armed with sore fingers/rag and autosol. god, polished ali does look horrid when oil traces get rubbed in during polishing!!geat work btw. =D>

Ooooo ya too kind......mgtkkr1

I know this is the wrong thread...But those Kdx Rubbers were £12 each plus 12 post ..from the Good Ole USA ,,,, Its mad at the mo with the Dollar Being so weak those airstrikers here are £400 ..half that and less...
If anyone knows of a very goodfella i will have the inlets copied....

Failing that ...Kx125 plus inlets from allens work providing you use a rubber cement...
Or Just use the standard ones ...you can still buy the original inlets..

the finish on all your parts is very tasty indeed. On a similar note, I have been thinking about getting my engine aqua blasted, however, as I live on the south coast, any slight moisture in the air causes my engine to grow a white 'fur coat'. I quite like the bare metal look though, is there any kind of plating/coating etc I could use to keep it looking 'like new'?

Supposedly the best for stopping stuff like that corode is that ACF50. Was talking to a just up the road from me who does vapour blasting as a 'foriegner', getting some carbs done by him at the moment, he's a bike enthusiast so knows what he's doing with the bits as well.

Don't think any of the clear coats last long enough.
