Oh, that looks nice, more modern.
Did it just need a new alloy plate making up or was there more work involved?

Really looking forward to seeing it finished.

I had an alloy fork brace made to fit the mudguard and had to jack it up on i think 10mm spacers so the mudguard cleared the tyre !!!
Alot of trouble i guess but i just didn't like the standard KR mudguard

Tried fitting the KR1s speedo cable today but it's too short

Needs to be about 85mm longer

Does anyone know from what model a longer one is available ?

Anyone want to buy a genuine speedo cable

The ZXR 400H had longer forks and the same speedo drive unit (but different ID for the spindle) May be one of them will fit?

Personnaly I think your best bet is a trip to a friendly breakers with the parts and dimensions and have a look at his bits  .

ill hazard a guess at any of the zephyr range??? kawasaki are norm quite good were interchangeability is concerned, esp parts like that. at least i think so. for the sake of a few quid its worth a punt using ebay to source a useable used one then get an oe one when your sure it fits.
