Hi can you resurface caliper pistons with emery paper, and if so how much can be took off

Heading for quick failure of the seals IMO
You can get stainless pistons for less money than genuine and don't forget the red rubber grease !

I used the stainless steel pistons with dot 5 silicone fluid (no rubber grease).
No problems at all, the feel is solid.
And hopefully nothing to corrode.
