Carb balancing ?

Post by vector74 »

Hi,

Ive got a vacuum gauge (+pipe,t-piece,and a cone like connector) and on packet it says it can be used for carb balancing for carbs one per cylinder. Thing is I dont know how to do it :) and packet doesnt tell you. How do I go about balancing the carbs using the vacuum gauge ?

Thanks for any help.

this is the gauge ..

you cant balance the carbs on the kr1 cos it only has one vacume takeoff on the left carb(it opens the fuel tap when the engine is running)...
you could always tap out the right carb in the same position then fit a srew in adaptor (i used a brass insert out of a scottoiler kit)..... :D

hope it helps.........
