Nope

But I race on an 8.5kg/mm or about 475lb/in

I guess for the road some where between 7.5kg/mm (softish) to 8.0kg/mm would be about right.

Also depends a bit on your weight - I clock in at 12.5 stone.

Length you should be able to measure - other dimension you need is dia.

I use Faulkner springs which I get from Demon tweaks. Black is standard but colours available at extra cost.

they're the ones i was looking at but didnt know what to get.
as i'm not as podgy as you (a trim 11st) i think 7.5/8kg would be about right then

How did you get on col??

Did you get round to getting a new spring? Just rebuilt my shock and thinking std Kwak spring feels a bit soft and has alot of preload to set it up.

Mark all you need to do to make your KR go faster is go on a diet!

Got a 7.7kg/mm on mine at the min, a perfect match too the 0.8kg/mm fork springs in my KR1S,

I weigh 11.5 stone and the ride is slightly on the stiff side for the road but probably perfect for the track (not tried trackday in current setup yet)

Just been out to measure mine up as it needs replacing (the spring that is)

For everyones information the rear spring details are

2.25 inch internal diameter

6.6 inch unsprung length (so i have gone for a 7" one) (ooh er missus)

7kg / mm is the equivelent of 385 lbs per inch
8kg / mm is the equivelent of 440 lbs per inch

for lbs per foot, multiply by 12

cheers

Nate
