Reaching new high prices, some time age i did say these bikes and parts prices were going up BUT!!!!

Yeah, they are all becoming more and more desirable. Definitely an investment if anyone is thinking about buying.

I would have one tomorrow if a project came along at the right price.

Gents a rising tide floats all boats, the prices of the Krs may cause the KR1's to inch up. Given their comparitive rarity as say compared with a 350lc or X7's

All these bikes are from dealers, and are over inflated asking prices, just like the £12,000 RD500 or £15,000 RG500. Its a trick of the trade, Just like a double glazing salesman who, when pushed can give you 50% off windows for your home.

yes ok! but we all said thet with z900, z1000, rd500 and lc's dont be blinded. kr250's are the new classic they have been ignored for to long, it's now there time. any one wanna buy mine? lol dream on i'm sitting on it give it two years 10k

At first I didn't spot it but the first green meanie is an S spotted the power valve servo.

The bottom two ads are the same seller and he mentions one of the bikes is used in an upcoming Practical Sportsbikes test - not one KR250, but two! Says it's a KR250A vs KR250S. I'll certainly look forward to reading that road test and of course that sort of publicity will only continue to drive values up.

If thats what they're worth then I got a bargain, my '84 red/black KR came with 4,900kms (3000miles) , toolkit and handbook etc. and in time warp condition for $2500 Aussie, but smaller capacity two strokes aren't appreciated down here like they are in the UK.

Yeah, Jim did the test last week, he was picking my brains about the KVSS system up front.

Got an email last night saying he much preferred the ordinary KR over the S, because of the kick up the arse you get over 6000rpm, but enjoyed riding 'em both. Should be in the next issue, possibly with some of my crappy pics illustrating the top-end differences.

I'm really excited to see this article, I love that magazine (the wife not so much as it's to blame for my increasing collection of 'old clunkers' (her words!)) as it's very professionally written.

Not that I've ridden a PV equipped KR, but I must admit to being rather impressed by that power step at 6,000rpm on the KR - it felt faster than my 350YPVS!

New PS magazine on the shelves today. 4-page KR article.
