Hi all it's been a while. As for my vapour blaster, I made my one so I can't advise on a setup as it's a bit of trial and error.

Anyway I ordered some decals off the EBay. Not wanting to name the seller but the kit cost me £89 plus delivery,
The kit arrived so I checked the decals for colour match with a original side panel that I have for reference. The blue was ok but the headlight decal was a mile out.
It must have been a off the shelf colour but the match was sh*t.
So I contacted him and he said that colour was impossible to match and if I wanted to ensure a correct match I should spray that part. So what's the point in buying a decal.
So after 2 minutes on the interweb I found a company that would match any colour so I sent them the panel and they matched the green, blue and pearl.
So I have had my own headlight decal cut. I have a few spare if anyone needs one. I am trying to cover my costs..

I would be interested in a headlight decal as my bike doesn't have one. Can you PM me a price please?

I am Now working on the pearl decal for the side panels



There is a lot to be said about if you want a job doing right do it your self.

I have a large sheet if pearl vinyl so I will cut as many of these as I can an will offer them up to you lot on here.

Nice work, going to a lot of trouble there, i'd be interested in the decals, following your results.

I Have now checked the green headlight decal and it looks a good fit and match, so i have a few of these spare. so p.m me if you want a set, to cover my costs I want £16 a set delivered (UK)

I have also produced the pearl white decals for the side panels these will be £14 a set delivered,

I will stick them on ebay if there is no interest on here.

It's Been a while, I have had issues with paint,,,, the man that painted my bike decided to jack his job in half way through the respray so it has been delayed a few months until he could fit it in.. anyway I am happy to say she is finished......... here are a few pictures....

Question, did you only use the original nuts and bolts?

Hi Neil,
Yes I have used all the original nuts bolts and washers, some were pretty bad but if you strip them with hydrochloric acid and then wash the crap off, this leaves them good for re-plating, they are all zinc plated with a colour passivate layer. A lot of the parts on Japanese bikes are dark green, I found this is actually black passivate that has oxidized as my fittings are now turning green which I’m very pleased with.

I'm about 2weeks to go to finish my new workshop and to move all my bikes down there. I'll be interested to see if my kr1s has all original or a mix of fasteners., I haven't had a close look at it yet really, at that level of inspection.

I would be over the moon with that mon suire(been watching the tour).

That looks the bizz, well worth the wait from the painters.
