It's booked in for paint first week of August Bernie. How's your paint search going?

Walsh Automotive. What's their problem? Do you want me to ask my painter?

They are all saying they are either too busy, or not economical to do a bike as they take too long.
If you could ask please.
Cheers
Bernie

Will check tomorrow. If you drop everything off, we can stick it all on my road bike and I can drop that off to them. What plastic welding is required?

I have been watching bens thread, and I must admit, this is advanced stuff, I am really keen to see what the bhp figures are, [depending on what dyno it is run up on]as some read LOW and some HIGH

You're coming to the show aren't you Martin? I won't have a dyno run complete in time for that, but will share the results as soon as it's finished.

Head arrived today, thanks Jan. This means I've be able to put it in position, so I can work out the coolant hose and thermostat arrangement.

Now that the bike is more or less together with radiator and pipes in situ, I can get the bodywork finished and ready for paint.
The attention is as always in the detail, as I have shaped and channeled the fairing to deflect and force the air flow through the radiator. When there are gaps between the fairing and the radiator, air flow is allowed to pass around the rad, therefore reducing its cooling efficiency.
I've just fibre glassed it in the pictures and will fill and sand any rough areas smooth this week, before it goes away for paint.
