I wonder if they'll come here, and in the right sizes

I haven't been on here for awhile. I hope you all had a good Christmas.

A quick update on my baby. I managed to find some time to go pick my frame up from the sandblasters(I'll take a photo soon), now it's waiting to have the crack welded.
The powdercoater has my wheels and a handfull of other bits, but Christmas with 4 kids has left the wallet a little thin.
I dropped a pair of forks off to my old man to be restored.
My little brother has the patterns Fred sent through for the spannies. But he is flat out building these suckers.

Santa got me a new leather jacket off eBay.

The jacket seems fairly good quality but the logos are tacky. But I like it. Just need a new helmet now. [-o<

Cracked lower engine mount

i had exactly the same all i did was grind old weld of with a dremel very easy job find someone, company who welds aluminium i did only charged me a fiver but i give em 10 not a difficult one, unless you can do it yourself of coarse

DO IT MYSELF!!! Haha. There is a guy down the street from who is going to do it. But he wants $50 which isn't too bad.

Woo hoo got a radiator.

Finally after months of stalling due to work, kids and money I've made some progress.

When I went to pick up the wheels they were "Lawn Green"..... Dumbass

I dropped my radiator off for a freshen up, $100aud not bad value.
My forks are ready to be picked up, but they are a nice 3 hour drive up to my dads to get them.
I was just reading about reading the sticky post about rebuilding the rear shock I think I'll pay to have that done!
I've been harassing the guy down the road at the bearing and fastener shop and have started replacing some bits and pieces.

I had an RDO today, so I broke out the pressure pack.

I noticed on the previous picture of the wheels, there's paint on where your discs are mounted. You really need to get that off and have a metal to metal clean surface. If there is any dirt or inperfections, it can cause run out on your discs and you'll think they are warped or worse.

How minor of an inperfecrtion are you talking?

It doesn't take much, certainly a slight variation in paint thickness from one side to the other will give you a feeling of a warped disc when braking.
Just take a stanley knife to it a clean it down to the metal on the surface which butts up to the discs.

you can always bolt the complete wheels in first, and check if the discs warp bye holding a screwdriver as close to them as possible (or even against the discs)
