jan, do you have the gear to do your own alloy welding? this bike will be a fantastic scratcher, cant wait to see the 500 kx thing!

I use a MIG for alloy welding.

it ain't as easy as welding iron though. it's strong and solid, but it's hard to make a nice good looking weld. that's why you won't find any on my bike : I just sand them away

btw : last week I started on a quick interim-project, has to be finished before the 3rd of october : fitting a ZZR600 engine into a ZXR400 first modell, 'cause I want to use it on a Trackday at Francorchamps 8)

Well done JanBros. =D> =D>
Sounds fantastic (for a diesel  ), but the back-fires on de-cell were a bit odd. :-s

sound is ok, maybe even too much (open K&N's, no airbox) :)

powercomander is already in the house 8) just need to find space to fit it. mixture ain't spot on at the mo 'cause off the airfilters and seperate exhausts.

first impression (never ran a SV650 before I bought the engine) : as fast as a KR1, runs fine , nice low end mid-end power, but absolutly no "let's kick some ass" top end :? but since it's main purpose will be riding with the misses on the back  perfect :D
