Check the manual, I thought the standard size was #40 Are they clean and free of crud?
Can anyone else comment, i would have thought if the jets are clean to maybe go to a 40 or higher?
Any ideas ?

You can use a 38 or a 40 Pilot jet.

Weird bloody fault. Should have been pilots, or at least carbs. Should have read my own original post "HT leads" .Or Mr bungholeo's guess (smart arse) .Put new pilots in. tap overhaul kit cleaned everything again. Took it up the road exactly the same. So gave it a f£$king good thrashing, 120mph just under 11000rpm & a bit more to come, I kid you not & i'm close to 16 st but I carry it well my mother say's. Then the problem changed. Wouldn't clear itself from 4000 rpm to nearly 7000. Anyway new coil + leads .......sorted .
