Rear caliper disassembly
Trying to rebuild my rear brake caliper, I've removed the pistons and would like to remove the sliding pins as they seem to be seized, are these supposed to be removed and if so does anyone know how I do this?

Re: Rear caliper disassembly
The big 'C' bracket should just slide out of the caliper, the only thing holding it in should be the rubber guides, so sounds like yours is corroded in the caliper body, brute force, lots of anti seize should get it sliding, but be careful with the boots as they aren't cheap to replace.
If you just want to remove the pins off the bracket?? some certain types are 'just' threaded in (can't see any reason to do this though)
