Hi all, i have just stripped and cleaned the carbs out
and it still wont tick over
Without the choke on?
When i was cleaning the jets i noticed the main jet was
larger than the 138 standard but the others looked fine.
The needle was on clip 4.
If i knock the choke off and rev it i will run for a while and
Then stall no matter how much throttle i give it.
When i removed the fuel tank the fuel tap was leaking
Out of one of the outlets not sure if this would cause anything
But more info the better.
Anyone any ideas?
Cheers.

Hi mate just checked, it will for a minute or so then the revs will start to
drop and then a couple of minutes the revs will gradually
drop then stall.

Definitely worth a try. Also check that your fuel tap isn't blocked and that there is no persistent blockage in the fuel inlet passages in the carb. Could the float valves be sticking partially shut also?headcoats wrote:Try new pilot jets as sometimes you just can't clean the old suckers out
