good Morning
I have a (few) stupid question (s).
while the engine is maintenance I had the gearbox apart to install new bearings.
the transmission is back in the engine case without clutch etc ..
question 1:
how can I test the gears?
the shift cam I can not move by hand.
question 2:
did any of you a picture of how the switch mechanism and Stoper lever is installed?
In the manual it is very blurred.
unfortunately I did not take pictures.
I am very uncertain and do not want to do twice the work.
thanks
Dirk

another question.
i left the cylinder head on the cylinders.
how do I get the block via the pistons?

Re: gearbox installation
I simply put the external link arm onto the gear selector spline, held it with some mole grips to get some extra leverage and engaged the gears, ensuring that I twiddled the clutch shaft so that each gear engaged properly one at a time
