I can't remember the last time I saw one on the road.
I agree there doesn't seem to be many about nowadays,
Even though it will take awhile to complete I'm sure it will be worth it as I have always liked these bikes ever since Cus my mate who was afew years older than me took me for a spin on the back of his red GSX750ET back in 1985 when I was just 16yrs old, It was awesomely fast compared to my DT50MX
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.

I hate to say this Ian, but your push bike project would have seemed fast compared to a DT50MX

True I used to get sat behind the bus at 45mph and then go to overtake !!!!!! and as you pull out the bus would disappear into the distance lol

it's amazing how easy nos parts are to obtain at the moment, I got a brand new alloy engine badge and clutch lever, together with a side panel sticker for my 250 Suzuki katana, the prices aren't too scary either, was chatting to a fellow biker who said that parts for twenty year old jap bikes are easier to get now than they were in 1993 ! its great to see the original wrapping as well
