These are still available new. I purchased one recently from Cradley, it is shiny black. My old one was rusty and had started falling apart.

Sorted out a spacer for the bottom engine mount today. I have half a dozen of these so I thought I'd measure them up and use the longest one. There was a diference of 0.4mm between the one I used and the shortest.

Also - More new bits to fit.

OK, time for a bit of an update. Encountered some issues with the engine and have been really busy at work.

The head gasket leaked so the top end had to come back off. I had the tops of the barrels ground as a pair and the head lapped. Also had the barrels honed again as there were some marks in bores and more new rings. Anyway all back together with a smear of High temp "h***a Bond" on the head gasket and all is well. A could of heat cycles in so far and seems to be running nicely.

So, back to putting her back together.

More NOS fitted.

Next job is the brakes. Caliper bodies need to be send for blasting and powder coat.

Cheers,

Andrew
