Brilliant progress Garry =D>

I have to admit i'm of a similar mind with my bikes, do it yourself & get the buggers on the road \:D/

Apart from my Kr1s project, which is driving me mad. As it is turning into a nut & bolt job......grrrrrrrrr

Forks done and back in with swapped yoke

Re-built the calipers and gave them a re-spray a few coats of
lacquer and new bolts - managed to get them working without getting brake fluid everywhere :)

I think its best to just have one project at a time Howie - otherwise
you never seem to get any of them finished #-o

Thanks Bernie

The wheels are some of the bits i have accumulated over the years

Am using some of them on this bike

The pipes are Nikons - used BBQ paint - seems to give a hard wearing
finish and cleans easy

Shouldn't be too long now before it's all back together

Rear caliper rebuilt - pistons had seized - got them to move eventually by
pushing them back, spray of WD40 and then using the brake lever - since it was having no effect on its own

Will fit the disc when the wheel comes out for a new tyre

Frame spars polished and lacquered

Got some electrics to sort out then fairing repairs

Not sure if a black mudguard might look better :-k - will wait and see when the fairings back on

Looks good, black wheels go well with the B2 paintjob :D
How come you cut the side panels down,to get at the fuel lines on the tap easier?

The reason i cut the panels Davewas because they were cracked at the front - however i think i prefer them this way - plus it does give you better
access

Have a good pair in the shed
