Had a bit of time tonight. I put in the wiring harness, tail light and clock set.

Bad photo as I had the baby a sleep in the room next to me so o had to have the lights down. :-$

I also painted the bracket for the heatsink but dropped in the dirt in the back yard and will have to paint it again

Gotta stay off eBay!

Post by Jnaus »

I have made zero progress on the rebuild. I got outted by the wife a few weeks ago and have been staying with a friend since. I have a new way of spending my spare time as a result and have found myself buying crap on eBay.
I bought these is a horrible moment of tastelessness

But that's ok they match the green braided brake lines I bought!!! #-o

Sorry to hear the missus have booted you out Jnaus :(

I wouldn't worry about the matching green hose's, I had a similar moment when I rebuilt my Kr1.

I only got as far as green oil supply pipe & breather hose

But I did seriously look for green coloured coolant  (all the stuff I get seems to be blue?)

As it happens, I like the green rad hoses 8)
