My latest aquisition KR1S 250 1991

Post by Andy006 »

Just picked this up today. Used to belong to a colleague at work, and I didn't know he had it. Just got talking about 2 strokes and KR's. He says, "I have one, do you want to buy it?" I had a look and said yes please.  Its got Nikon pipes, polished everything, brand new forks with white power internals, new hagon shock, new pistons and rings etc, new MOT and taxed. Goes like hot snot.

Its the best I have ever seen personally. Just spent a few hours cleaning it and hey presto :

Yes it is the one that was on Ebay. He was testing the water so to speak.

The work that has gone into this bike is immense. And I will not say how much I paid for it. 8)

The guy who sold it to me is as crazy about bikes as me and comes from a real biking family, he just needed space in his garage, so I obliged him.

I am chuffed to bits with this purchase. Its definetly the best KR1-S I have ever seen, on a par with the best on this forum or the old one.

regards

Andy
