As above, can I fit a 160 tyre on an Rgv wheel into a Kr-1s swingarm?
(I've just been offered some cheap tyres)
Thanks,
Mike

I think elf had a 5" dymag rim running a 160 but it was tight, I'll wait for him to confirm this
Cheers

MJ runs a 160 on his race bike, with a 5" dymag. It's a tight fit and he had to put a bend in the rear brake brace, to give clearance on the tyre.

depends from tire to tire I would recon. I believe most off them will fit, but they are not all the same width, so some might not fit.
In my SV-project, I have a 160/60 tire, but that 's on a Bandit400 wheel and that's only 4.00
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !

Out of interest, why do you want to fit an RGV wheel?

For a better choice of tyres, it is one of the few 17" wheels that fit in a kr-1s without too much work (just spacers).

I thought that was why. I was thinking of doing the same until MJ pointed out that Dunlop were doing Alpha 10s
