Rather than the usual ZXR400/250 route gone something different
TZ250 forks with Spondon adjustable yokes, though at the mo' yokes are set up to match the Stock KR setup.
TZ forks are slightly shorter than KR forks so I have had a set of extended fork caps made up so ride height is the same as the KR.
Brakes are TZ 4 pot Nissan calipers discs are KR1 which reduces rotating mass and weight significantly.
Will test them in the next week or two and see if this is the answer to my front end woes.

Doh why didn't anybody tell me?
In my excitement I swapped the forks over. So after carefully measuring spacers and getting them made - brill everything spot on
Until I put the mudguard on and it doesn't fit
No prob swap the forks round - now none of the spacers fit
The word muppet springs to mind ......

Fixed - 10 minutes to recommission the lathe and a new set of spacers knocked up.
Now one disc is true as can be - the other is wobbly. I am hoping it is just a case of it being lying around for a while and it has just sat oddly on the
bobbins. A bit of use and she will straighten up?
All a bit experimental - I am hoping to get her ready to try out on Monday at Cadwell and if all is well dial her in over 4 races (well more like test rides).
If not it will have to wait until Snett.
