Having problems keeping the thing running.Starts ok with the choke on then after a minute or so it will stop like there is no fuel flow.Tryed it on prime and it is still the same.The pilot air srews are not set and are wound out about 3 turns.What is the factory set figure.which notch should the needle be set at on a standard KR1s

Sounds like a blocked jet in the carbs. You'll need to strip them and clean them. If they are totally blocked then you can get new one's from Allens preformance. Also if it happens again then you may need some inline fuel filters, and the tank cleaning out and petsealing.
