Hi Bob,
Have you tried swapping over the leads to see if the problem moves to the other side?
If it does then the problem is the lead or the plug cap or the connection (ht lead to coil).
If not then the problem is not ignition (spark) related as it uses a wasted spark system (both plugs spark at the same time, but only one on the compression stroke is needed).
You will need to check you are getting fuel to the cylinder and that it has compression.

Has this just started happening?

Cheers

Hello Bob,

There is a switch conected to the sidestand to prefent you starting the bike when sidestand is out.
Sometimes the switch is the problem and the Bike runs on 1 cilinder

As a start i would try turning in the idle adjuster screw in increments on that cylinder and see if it solves the problem (perhaps the carbs
need a bit of setting up)

Could also be a partially blocked pilot jet

Good luck

that's not possible. only one pickup and one coil.

Thanks, I've tried swapping over the leads (I know it's a lost spark but did it anyway) and have tried swapping over the carbs. Any other ideas. Spent a lot of money and time to be tantalisingly close to completion!!!!!
