Radiator tidied up and painted with new fasteners. No broken or damaged tabs on this one.

Clutch perch finished with good cutout switch with "tangs" intact.

Some nice NOS carb cables ready to fit :)

Shoulf be ready to start her in the next couple of weeks. Getting excited now \:D/

There a number of stunning builds coming along on this forum. Looks like spring is going to showcase some great KR's

Hi Andrew,
Looking good :)
Is the gold stone guard standard or personal preference?
(I think it looks good)
Cheers
Bernie :)

:-k Most of the guards I have had are completely rusty, but I am sure a few better ones have had some of the original finish remaining which was a light gold colour (lighter than the colour I have done mine but look a bit faded). I'll do a bit on reasearch and see if I can find some pics.

Othere than that I could check with pookie.

Cheers

Andrew

Have to say Andrew I'm sure they're black, I had a KR1 in 1991 and the ZXR 750 of the same period uses a very similar guard and that's black too
My KR1-S guard was black [with a little rust!] until I resprayed it black last week and my ZXR H1 was too. Both were the factory finish.

Just been down the shed and it looks they I am probably wrong and they are black. The ones I have there are quite rusty but look black under the fixings.

Cheers

Well Andrew,
Are you going to leave it gold?

I would like a stainless steel one and a nice alloy radiator (pace). :)
