My right hand felt like it was going to drop off (had to sit up a few times and leave the bars go, until the blood went back into my fingers), my knees and hips are well knackered now
Bernie :)[/quote]

Rode mine to boxhill in surrey on monday and had the same numb hands and busted hips, its age related 'cos i've had my kr since new and it's only in the last few years this has happened, another excuse is that i ride it so little that certain muscles are lying dorment and are then rudely awakened when you go for a ride, the cure for this is to ride your kr-1 more often (any excuse) :) p.s bernie, are you suffering from solvol withdrawal problems? maybe you should carry a tube around with you for a 'quick fix' when needed :D

I think the average age of bikers is on the up - training is too complicated now to attract youngsters

An increasing amount of bikes you see on the road seem to have a more upright comfortable riding position - race reps seem to have had their day (in this country)

Wish mine looked as clean

It is sad but having owned a bike since i was sixteen everywhere i go bikers seem to be 40 somethings. the recent change in the licencing laws will only make things worse, had to laugh though at last years blue haze day at the ace cafe i overheard one old boy saying to another ''blue haze day? this is more like grey hairs day'' :D

Well it has been a while......
I have been having fun riding my bike (only on dry sunny days), I managed to spill break fluid all over my rear caliper, no need to explain what happened

So my spare callipers have been dipped and blasted. (thanks KR1 Paul) and will be polished before being hard anodised gunmetal grey, I have been giving the rear calliper the Lenny Henry treatment, but still got quite a bit of work to do :evilImage

Hi Phil

Too late now the damage has been done, but the anodising will be fluid proof [-o<

Hi Wayne, I was tempted just to leave them polished, but I think the grey will look better :)

Cheers,
Bernie :)

Hi Wayne
The Teesside Bikers meet at the Pitstop Cafe every Tuesday, I was talking to a regular yesterday who said that there is usually a couple of RDs and LCs that show up. I will get a couple of photos next time.
Cheers
Bernie :)

Bernie, noticed that shares in autosol have rocketed, keeping the chinese economy afloat and saving the western world from recession :)

Come on Bernie stop teasing get the Zeel and the 300 cc motor on the dyno and spill the beanz. Do yo expect similar results to Gary , I think he had different carbs and reeds.

Steve
