Hi Tricia,

He means Martin (Hicks), and I think he has confused his Gary's.
(Gary with the Ebony/Green KR1S 300 lives in the Luton area).

Thanks

Went out on my S yesterday - seemed a good idea at the time but it was too hot and humid to really enjoy it #-o

Was glad to get back home and back to shorts and t-shirt

A guy passed me on the A50 yesterday on a Ducati doing 90+ in tee shirt, shorts and trainers (no gloves either)

Hi Gary,
Great looking bikes.
Why is the right hand side panel short?
Cheers
Bernie :)

Thanks Andy/Bernie - my bikes aren't up to your standards - but i'm happy :)

Regarding the KR1 side panels - they were cracked at the front so trimmed them back - i think i actually prefer them. Have a couple of good ones now for spare.

The KR1S panels were like that when i bought the bike. The seat unit had also been trimmed along the bottom and the bottom frame rails cut from rear sub frame #-o . I think whoever did it wanted to improve the overall lines of the bike. Again i like it but probably not to everyones taste

I bought KR1Lee's projects last month (thanks Lee)

Have made a bit of a start - got the cracked engine mount welded on the S frame and taken the top end off the
seized KR1 engine. The top end seems okay - the crank is seized on the LH side (looks like water damage/rust).

Will start a seperate thread on this soon

Progress is slow as a bit too cold at the minute - tend to go out to the shed have a dig around, drink my cup of tea and come back in
