Good for you Bernie. That certainly looks too good to restore. Strip down, clean up, sort out any issues and reassemble...they are only original once!

James

Our KR1s came from Wheelpower in Raines Park Pookie. Shame it hasn't got the same history Bernie's has. I might try and dig a few photos out from Westgate road back in the day. There where bike shops from top to bottom on both sides of the road and a great chip shop.

Sunday 6th March sales in Solvol Autosol have just hit a 10 year high in Teeside. A Company spokesmen had no inkling of the rise in sales, "we just dont know what has caused this"

Hi Gary,
I cleaned the carbs out over the weekend, changed all the fluids, gave her a couple of kicks and she started. \:D/ \:D/
I will post a video of her running when I get some time.
Cheers
Bernie :)

Bernies dilemma is which one to polish. But he knows he cant give his latest bike the Lenny Henry treatment since there will be uproar from those who want him to keep it original with patina.

Nice one Bernie! It couldn't have gone to a better home.

Looking forward to seeing these bikes in the flesh some time.

Looking at your garage you either have to much time on your hands, or else you must be married :) .
