I'll be taking the NSR as backup (it's a great wet weather bike) and either my 4DP or VJ23 if I get it running properly

I'll be along for the weekend with my KR1S and hopefully a GSXR400 if I get it put back together in time. Probably arrive Friday, I'll look out for you.

It was good to meet you, Doug. Next time we all should make more of an effort to cross paths/have a pint... 8)

Definitely, hopefully might be one or two more KR's there next year too. In the meantime if any trackdays or meets are coming up I'll post onto here or FB.

Always good to see a KR-1S out where it belongs.

Keep an eye out for the 2Stroke day at Blyton Park (Gainsborough) in 2020.

Don't forget your spare spark plugs !!!!

Ha ha, thanks for coming to the rescue with Andy's TZ yesterday Phil, and I'm sorry that my introduction was "Hi Phil, I'm Coose. I don't suppose you have a set of 105s!"

Let me know if a new set don't appear and I'll give Andy a nudge, though he's part of a classic trackdays WhatsApp group I'm on and they're all regulars and decent people.

It was good to meet you though and I hope you didn't get too wet? It properly lashed it down as I left yesterday afternoon....

Glad to help. It was proper Lincolnshire monsoon weather. 15 mins of torrential rain then sunshine for just long enough to give a dry line then another torrent of rain. It was weird riding round on wet weather tyres in the sunshine !!!! I skipped the last session whilst I loaded the van, only for the sun to come out (again) just as we finished.

I managed a couple of dry sessions in the morning before the head gasket decided to rear its head. Hopefully sorted now, so I'll update my thread when I have the chance...
