Thanks :D I was pleased it held together (despite my crap gearchanges) and was great all weekend. The last 2 years I've had to retire it after a few session (I think both times were due the those new pistons wearing around the gudgeon pin). This rebuild with the old stock pistons it's running really well.

Thanks for the comments.. I just love the bike when it's on form and on the straights it happily pulled its way past plenty of similar "pocket rockets"  I'll see if I can get some more clips together.

Bernie, hopefully I'll be heading up to Stockton soon to get some time on Mick's dyno if you fancy taking yours along? If I get any news I'll message you..

Hi Doug
Mick has moved 10 minutes walk from where I live, and his new unit is on the Bon Lea Industrial estate which is just up the road 8)

Feel free to pop around when you are in the area.

Cheers
Bernie :)

Your bike was pretty fast Douglas!
I spoke to Griff and he said your forks were pretty good for adjustments!
I'm putting heavier oil in an and that's as far as I can go it seems!
Amazing weekend, a real assault on the senses as far as amazing bikes go too!

I'd got myself completely mixed up trying to sort the forks, Griff pretty much put me right straight away and adjusted them to something more suited to the track. They were pretty good on the nasty horrid bumpy back roads around home but turned out nothing like right for a lovely smooth grippy track tarmac! They need heavier oil so I can adjust the rebound damping back off a bit but even not right they were better than the standard forks last year.

I found out tonight the RS125 I spent a couple of session chasing and wondering how the hell it was so fast had a Rotax 250 engine in it! There really were some interesting bits of kit there, it's a great weekend.. Donington next year?

Donnington is a possibility!
Its so well organised, and I really had a good time!

Yeah that rs 125 was mental, very fast.
He was in our class and was taking the mick everywhere!!
