Putoline gp10

Post by Binetta Steve »

Sorry this is probably an ignorant question , but looking back through posts the recommendations for gearbox oil seem to be for mineral oil 10/30 or 10/40. Dont use synthetic as it can cause clutch slip

Three product names come up on the forum Motul Transiol and Putoline GP10
Also halfords gearbox mineral oil.

I went to my local bike shop to get some putoline (no oil at halfords only synth) to be told its synthetic!

Please help , thanks in advance

I order all my oil online Steve and have used Motul Transoil for ages now without any issues.

Try Wilkinsons for mineral oil - they are also the cheapest

Always used it and no problems

Dexron as Jan suggests would also be a good option.
