Clutch cable issues

I don't really know what section to put this in but this is about as close as I can find.

With the original cable guide on the clock bracket the clutch cable is far too tight on full left lock and actually restricts the steering. It's a standard clutch cable.

Anyone else had this problem and should I just cut the guide off?

Many thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Jon

Have you gone through the guide, because I don't think it's supposed to, believe it acts more like a 'bumper' and stops it rubbing.

No, thats right.
The cable goes from the lever across the front of the headstock, touches the cable guide on the clock bracket (does not go inside it), inside the right hand fork leg, through the clutch cable support bracket on the radiator and down to the adjuster.
Cheers,
Bernie :)

Thanks all, been banging my head against the wall trying to work it out and having fitted the bracket thought that it doesn't keep it clear of the clocks which is the main idea surely but of course if it goes outside and rests against it instead it will be all good.

Doh! :!:
