kips valves

Post by waza1972 »

Just a quick Question. Iv owned a couple of Yam YPVSs
and when you turn in the ignition the servo cycles and you know its
Wrking. Does or should the KR1 do the same, i have my engine running
But cant see any of the linkages move when revved or hear the servo?

Have a search on kips valves topics, there's lots of info in previous threads..

WHen you turn on the ignition the valves should cycle, similar to a YPVS, they simply go from closed-open-closed. When the bike revs up, the valves should open somewhere around 7-8 I believe.
