KR1 BELLY PAN FIXINGS

Post by waza1972 »

Hi, im in the middle of restoring a KR1 and just had all the paintwork done. Can anyone tell me besides the six fixings that attach it to the top half what else holds it in place? I know there is a hole in the belly pan that looks like it might attach to the bracket under the rad is that correct. Anyone got any pics of this fitting as I my belly pan was stripped ready for paint and all im left with is a plastic bracket on the inside with a big hole in it.

Cheers Waza

You need a rubber grommet part number 92071056 fitted to your belly pan.
The bracket under the radiator fits into this grommet. That's about it..
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..

...there is also a small rubber sleeve that fits on a tab on the belly of each exhaust
... not strictly required
